DIGITAL REACTION TIME APPARATUS

DIGITAL REACTION TIME APPARATUS . Also known as
Chronoscope . It is an apparatus for measuring reaction time to
both visual and auditory stimuli with a provision to vary intensity
of stimuli and with facility for lateralisation of sound to the right or
left ear. The instrument is being used for the study of reaction
time in normals, smokers, diabetics, psychiatric patients and
neurologically afflicted patients. Reaction Time Apparatus gives
simple discriminatory and choice reactions for visual and auditory
stimuli with built in Chronoscope. It features four stimuli, two
response keys and a ready signal. Switches for selecting right or
left response key for any stimulus is provided. Chronoscope is a 4
digit chronoscope with least count of 1/1000 sec, works on 230
volts A.C.

MIRROR DRAWING APPARATUS

Electrical Mirror Drawing Apparatus an Indicator Lamp is provided
in place of Error Counter. The Errors are counted by the
experimenter manually putting a Tally Mark for each flash/glow of
the (Indicator Lamp in every trial.) Mirror Drawing Apparatus
Electrical with reset 6 digit error counter with Manual & Response
Sheet (It has a Wooden Base Box with Sunmica top on which a
Metallic Star Pattern (Aluminium) is mounted at the Centre. At the
back side of the Base Box a framed Mirror has been hinged which
stands erect while at work and lies flat covering the Star Pattern
when not in use. On the left side of the front edge a Plastic Sheet
Screen has been provided. On the right edge of the Base Box is
fitted an Electro- Magnetic Counter (6 Digit-Reset type) AC Mains
indicator, and a Stylus the Instrument is provided a Power lead
and a plug styles.)

HAND STEADINESS TESTER

ELECTRICAL WITH IMPULSE COUNTER (ELECTRICAL SIMPLE
ALSO AVAILABLE) ⚫ This test examines the steadiness of
the hand and the fingers. There is a box on one side of which
there are some holes arranged systematically so that they
proceed from the widest to the smallest. The subject takes an
instrument called the stylus into his hand and inserts it
completely and draws it out of these holes successively. .
Whenever the stylus touches the walls of the hole, the impulse
counter would indicate an error. – The Hand Steadiness Tester
is also available without an impulse counter. In that case,
whenever the stylus touches the walls of the hole, the light
point would indicate an error. . Comes with a manual.

ELECTRIC MEMORY DRUM

FOUR VARIABLE SPEED ELECTRICAL WITH MANUAL. A memory drum is a piece of laboratory apparatus used to present stimuli in a controlled manner in memory experiments before the advent of computers. items to be learnt appeared one at a time in the aperture of the drum as it was rotated, either by the experimenter or laterly by timed Inputs from a motor. The Electronic Memory Drum is a very useful, versatile and accurate instrument. It can be used in most of the Learning, Memory and Forgetting Experiments like Serial Verbal Learning, Retro-active inhibition, The present Instrument (apparatus) operates on 230V 50Hz AC. and has a removable/detachable drum. One stimulus each can be exposed to the subject at the desired speed (1,2,4,8) with the exposure time 1,248 seconds respectively. The maximum number of stimulus lists can be SIX(06). The Control Bow(Unit) contains an Electric Motor and a FOUR(04) Speed Gear Box and Clutch Mechanism. There are two leavers. Each ON/OFF Switches and two Indicator Ligs on the front panel of the Control Unit. Each ON/OFF Switch and Indicator Light is

FINGER DEXTERITY

Dexterity tests measure the accuracy of hand and finger
movements under controlled conditions. There are several ways to
assess dexterity and coordination; A few examples are given
below. The Nine-Hole Peg Test (NHPT) is considered as a gold
standard measure of manual dexterity and most frequently used
clinical practice

DIVISION OF ATTENTION

WITH RESET 6 DIGIT IMPULSE COUNTER (2) -Divided attention could be defined as our brain’s ability to attend to two different stimuli at the same time, and respond to the multiple demands of your surroundings. Divided attention is a type of simultaneous attention that allows us to process different information sources and successfully carry out multiple tasks at a time. This cognitive skill is very important, as it allows us to be more efficient in our day-to-day lives. Our ability to attend to multiple stimuli and do various tasks at a time does have its limits. When you divide your attention, the efficiency with which you do these actions is decreased, and you will almost certainly perform poorly, interference is the term used to describe when a person has a hard time attending to two stimuli at a time. We see interference when the brain is only able to process a certain amount of information, However, cognitive training can help improve divided attention, and as a consequence, the ability to do more than one activity at a time The apparatus consists of a wooden board with a circular and triangular groove with a metallic contact point on each. The board is wired so that any passage of electric current on 4 from a battery can be indicated by an impulse counter. The board is connected to a battery terminal. The other terminal of the battery is connected to a metallic stylus through the Impulse counter. Whenever the stylus touches the metallic contact point, the impulse counter records it as an erger
